Mr. Bourbonnais joined PSP Investments in March 2015 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Before joining PSP Investments, Mr. Bourbonnais was Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Private Investments at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board for nine years. Prior to that, he oversaw the 2005 IPO of Addenda Capital Inc., a leading fixed income manager, and managed private equity portfolios for the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec from 2001 to 2004. A lawyer by training, Mr. Bourbonnais began his career in 1986 with Stikeman Elliott LLP and, after three years in Europe for a merger and acquisition consulting firm, he joined Teleglobe where he was Chief Legal Officer from 1995 to 2000.
Mr. Garant joined PSP Investments in September 2008 as Senior Vice President, Public Market Investments. In July 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Garant was previously with Hydro-Québec, where he held several business development and portfolio management positions with increasing responsibility: from 2005 to 2008, he was Executive Vice President of Finance and CFO for Hydro-Québec, as well as the CEO of Hydro-Québec International. From 1991 to 1997, he held the position of Senior Manager, Private Equity, at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
Ms. Bernier joined PSP Investments in August 2015 as Senior Vice President, Strategic and Business Planning, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining PSP Investments, she was Partner at KPMG where she also served as Managing Partner of Québec Region offices from 2007 to 2013. Ms. Bernier joined KPMG in 2003 as Audit partner and Canadian Industry Leader for Technology, Media and Telecommunications. She began her career in 1986 at Arthur Andersen LLP. Ms. Bernier sits on the Board of Directors of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montréal, of Centraide of Greater Montréal and of the Musée Pointe-à-Callière. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.
Mr. Baccus joined PSP Investments in December 2016 as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. Before joining PSP Investments, Mr. Baccus was Chief Client Relations and Legal Officer at Alberta Investment Management Corporation where he oversaw Corporate and Investment Legal, Client Relations, Public Policy/Government Relations, Investment Tax, Compliance and Responsible Investing. Prior to that, he spent several years at Torys LLP as a partner where he built and led a diverse, international practice.
Mr. Bureau joined PSP Investments in March 2010 as Vice President and Chief Risk Officer. He has more than 25 years of experience in the North American and European financial markets. Prior to joining PSP Investments, he held executive finance positions at a number of companies, notably as Vice President, Credit - Specialized Products at National Bank of Canada, as Vice President, Corporate Projects – M&A at Groupe Vidéotron ltée, and as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at DiagnoCure.
Ms. Cirillo joined PSP Investments in October 2016 as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. Before joining PSP Investments, she was President and Senior Consultant at Loc-Global Executive Consulting Inc. She also held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources and Health, Safety, Security at Bombardier Recreational Products from 2011-2016. Prior to that, Ms. Cirillo spent 20 years with Rio Tinto (previously Alcan Inc.) where she held roles of increasing responsibilities with the various business entities, such as: Global Practice Leader, Leadership & People Development - Rio Tinto, Vice President Talent Management & Functions – Rio Tinto Alcan, Vice President and Talent Management & Organizational Development – Alcan Inc.
Mr. Cunningham joined PSP Investments in June 2004 as Vice President, Real Estate Investments. In July 2015, he was appointed Senior Vice President, Global Head of Real Estate Investments. Prior to joining PSP Investments, Mr. Cunningham spent four years with Merrill Lynch Real Estate Finance Group as Québec Regional Manager and before that was Senior Vice President at Brazos Advisors Canada for four years. From 1988 to 1996, he held various positions at National Bank of Canada and was at Coopers & Lybrand from 1983 to 1988.
Mr. Deschênes joined PSP Investments in September 2013 as Senior Vice President, Operations and Technology. In July 2015, he was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer. Prior to joining PSP Investments, he was based in Europe, where he held senior strategic leadership positions such as Chief Information and Industrialization Officer at Crédit Agricole, Chief Operating Officer at Fortis Group, CIO for The Alcatel Group, Deputy CIO at BNP Paribas and Vice President at BCG Consulting. Mr. Deschênes started his career in Montréal at DMR Group and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec.
Ms. Lanthier joined PSP Investments in May 2006 as Director, External Manager Search and Monitoring, Public Market Investments. She was named Senior Vice President, Public Equities and Absolute Return in July 2015. Prior to joining PSP Investments, Ms. Lanthier spent seven years at Hydro-Québec Pension Fund where she held several portfolio management positions with increasing responsibilities. From 1997 to 1999, she was a financial analyst at the Bank of Canada.
Mr. Scudellari joined PSP Investments in November 2015 as Senior Vice President, Head of Principal Debt and Credit Investments. He brings over 30 years of experience providing financing and capital markets advice to US and Canadian companies, with leadership roles at Barclays and Goldman, Sachs & Co., including as Global Head of Finance and Risk – Canada for Barclays in New York. Mr. Scudellari also spent two years in Calgary, where he acted Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for North West Upgrading Inc. and served as a Board member at Teine Energy.
Mr. Stewart joined PSP Investments in September 2015 as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Private Investments. Prior to joining PSP, Mr. Stewart served as a corporate director and advisor for various public and private enterprises and for investment funds. His career also includes a partnership at Edgestone Capital, one of Canada’s largest private equity firms, and 15 years in executive roles in the telecommunications industry, including as President and CEO of Teleglobe Canada. Prior to joining Teleglobe, Mr. Stewart was a founding officer of BCE Mobile Communications Inc. Mr. Stewart began his career as a corporate and acquisitions lawyer in Toronto with Osler.
