PSP Investments updates its Green Bond Framework

Montréal, Canada, October 30, 2025 —The Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSP Investments) announced today that it has updated its Green Bond Framework in response to recent developments in sustainable bond markets.

PSP Investments’ Green Bond Framework outlines the criteria for allocating proceeds from green bond issuances to projects that promote the development of environmental and climate benefits and are aligned with the organization’s broader mandate of long-term value creation.

In reviewing the updated framework, S&P Global Ratings (S&P) has maintained its Medium green assessment under its Shades of Green Analytical Approach. S&P has also confirmed in its assessment that the framework adheres to the International Capital Market Association's (ICMA's) Green Enabling Projects Guidance.

BMO Capital Markets and NBC Capital Markets acted as advisors to PSP Investments in connection with the Green Bond Framework updates.
